What the API returns
Pass any US address or ZIP code. Get back a structured list of which internet providers serve that location, with speeds and technology type for each plan they offer.
Every provider in the response includes: provider ID, display name, available technologies (fiber, cable, DSL, 5G, satellite), and plan details with max download speed, max upload speed, and starting price where available.
The source field tells you whether results came from FCC Form 477 data (accurate to ZIP) or from our fallback coverage model when a ZIP isn't in the FCC dataset.

Frequently asked questions
When does the API launch?
We haven't announced a date. The waitlist is how you'll be first to know. We're prioritizing quality of coverage and documentation over speed to launch.
How accurate is the data?
The underlying data comes from the FCC Broadband Data Collection — the same data ISPs are legally required to report. It's ZIP-level accurate. Individual address accuracy depends on how precisely each ISP reported their coverage footprint.
How often is the data updated?
The FCC updates Broadband Data Collection approximately twice per year. We update our dataset with each new release. Major provider buildouts (fiber expansions, 5G fixed wireless) will be reflected within a few months of the FCC release.
Which providers are covered?
All providers that report to the FCC BDC — including Xfinity, AT&T, Spectrum, T-Mobile, Verizon, Frontier, CenturyLink, Starlink, and hundreds of regional ISPs and co-ops. If they serve residential customers and report to the FCC, they're in the dataset.
Is this the same data powering ChooseISP.com?
Yes. The API gives you programmatic access to the same FCC-sourced provider availability data that drives the address lookup on this site.
Do I need an account to join the waitlist?
No. Just an email address. We'll send one email when early access opens. No drip campaigns, no marketing.
